WHY WE DO IT

WHY WE DO IT

On November 23, 2017 our lives were forever changed by a reckless, drunk driver. The unthinkable had happened, and we were left to try and pick up the pieces while navigating unbearable pain and heartbreak, intense anger, and immeasurable loss. Within hours of Rhyan's passing, it started to become apparent just how many people she had touched in her 14 years with us. Stories began to surface about the ways she cared for others, how she stood up for those who were bullied, how she listened to friends in need, how she encouraged people to live up to their fullest potential, and how she made people laugh. Rhyan would want us to continue to do these things that came so naturally to her. She may not physically be with us, but her spirit and passion for living continues in those who knew her. Our foundation hopes to raise awareness in the hope that others do not have to experience such a life altering tragedy. We raise money to help students from Rhyan's high school and surrounding area schools go to college, live a full life, and reach their fullest potential. Rhyan was always willing to help someone in need....it is our hope that we can fulfill that dream for her .
